It is easy to assemble as all you need is a little time and a screw driver. One point that a few customers have noted is that whilst the body of this is very solid, the wire mesh screens (as with all spark screens) are somewhat thin. This makes them great for viewing the flames through but could cause warping or rust if left outside in the rain. They are also quite easy to knock out of the fire itself if you aren’t careful since they are held in place by gravity only. Yet another reason not to let clumsy, drunk or young folks adjust the logs.
