Vogelzang Cast Iron Boxwood Stove Model BX26E Reviews

You can see from the reviews of the Vogelzang BX26E that reviews are mixed.  Some absolutely love this economical wood burning stove whilst others are less impressed.  To ensure you are happy with your purchase you nned to really decide this is the right stove for you.

As it is less expensive than some options there are a few points to consider.  For example the caulking at the joints will need to be reapplied in time.  To ensure you never experience smoke coming into your home it is important to keep the flue clear and get the fire burning hot quickly.

This is a cheaper stove that may need a little care and attention over the years.  But with an old-fashioned sturdy design, no glass to break and nothing technical to go wrong that attention should be nothing too complicated.

You could vastly improve the efficiency of the BX26E by using a flue pipe will a built in damper.  This will give you much greater control over the heat output and reduce heat loss via the chimney itself.  This is a useful tip for improving heat control and draft control with any cast iron wood burning stove, not just the Vogelzang BX26E.

Sojoe Fire Pit Reviews

Buy Sojoe Rustic Firepits

Sojoe Firepits offer a charming way to warm the winter nights and create an exciting atmosphere in the backyard.  There are several designs to choose from, each featuring a different charming cut out design from stars adn moons to wildlife.  The cut outs offer more than just a rustic design feature though.  They are key to allowing oxygen into the heart of the wood fire itself, ensuring your wood burns efficiently and giving off the most heat possible.

Sojoe Fire Pit Customer Reviews

Since the best place to Buy Sojoe Fire Pits is amazon it makes sense to have a look at what their past customers have to say, with their Sojoe Fire Pit Reviews.  We have viewed reviews of all the various designs of authentic Sojoe fire bowl and provide a rough guide to customer experience below:

Sojoe Fire Pits Construction

  • Brief assembly
  • It is solidly built
  • It is well built, not too heavy
  • Heavy duty unit, solid welds
  • The firepit has held up very well over the years
  • the fire pit is heavy, especially when you put a couple inches of sand in the bottom.

Sojoe Fire Pits Accessories

  • The fire poker is absolutely necessary and well done
  • We also love the screen. We live in a wooded area, and it makes us feel better that large embers can’t float out of the fire
  • The rail ring on the outside is a nice resting spot for your feet
  • We did have to purchase another spark screen, we burned through the other one but after that many fires, it wasn’t unexpected.
  • The grill is well made, non-warping, and well-fitted to the fire pit
  • The best part is the waterproof cover, though. You have to have one, or the firepit will be a nightmare.

General Remarks

  • the fire-pit comes pre-weathered, and it is covered with an incredible amount of orange rust powder that will get all over you as you put it together
  • Heavy duty unit, solid welds and you get the grille(good quality), poker, spark cover(good quality, not lightweight) and heavy duty cover for it.
  • We look forward to using it for years to come

All the Sojoe FirePit Reviews published to date rate the product with five stars (the highest rating possible).  You can view them in full here.  We have to admit we didn’t quite believe there had been no negative point of view raised.  The only less than glowing aspects, such as the residue left during assembly or the heaviness of the item were not bad enough to sway customers into giving anything but five stars.  This is not something we usually find, as with a popular item there will usually be occasional poor responses.  Not so (so far anyway) with the Sojoe Fire Pit.

Copper Fire Pits

Copper Fire Pits are a stylish design solution for those wanting an outdoor wood burner that looks good all day long.  You can choose between deep copper tubs, shallow copper fire pit tables and copper chimineas.  Here are the favorite Copper Fire Pit options from the Fire Pit Review.

CobraCo Cast Iron & Copper Finish Fire Bowl Table

Buy the CobraCo FB6132 Round Cast Iron Copper Finish Fire Bowl with Screen and Cover

The CobraCo Cast Iron and copper finish fire pit table is the best selling copper fire pit with our favorite store amazon.   Priced at a sensible $145 this is an affordable yet stylish option for those wanting a touch of pizazz on the patio.

The table frame itself is solid wrought iron.  Four legs hold the bowl safe and secure, while the scroll-work detailing adds a little more sophistication to the whole affair.  The shallow fire bowl is cast iron, so tough and durable with a copper finish.  Included in the price are a mesh screen (a must to keep sparks safe if using any fire near treas, and good for ‘child proofing a campfire), and a vinyl cover for protecting your purchase when in storage.

This is one of the most popular copper fire pits on sale today, due in large part perhaps to the low price tag.   This should proof a good way of heating with wood outdoors for gatherings both large and small.  And, coming in at only 38 pounds it is portable enough to take on vacation too.

Landmann Scroll Series Copper Fire Pit

Buy the Landmann Scroll Series 30-Inch Copper Fire Pit with Spark Guard

The Landmann Scroll series offers a more fanciful take on the Copper Fire Pit Table, with much more ornate scrollwork at the base.

One of the key features of the Landmann is the mesh screen.  This has a fold back capability that many owners find a good option.  Simply fold back the spark guard to load on more logs, rather than having to remove the whole thing.

The Landmann Copper Fire Pit Table comes with a food grill too, for cooking steak while you enjoy an evening in the backyard.  Again it is portable, coming it an around 31 pounds.  The base and guard are powder coated to prevent rust, while the solid copper bowl will eventually age with a natural verdigris finish.

There is an option to order this table in a taller model that includes a shelf below.  Though it is pretty, it might be a touch less sturdy for some to actually wish to use for an outdoor fire.  At just under $150 this is still a cheap fire pit, but with no cover included you are likely to spend a little more than just this purchase price.

CobraCo Hand Hammered Copper Fire Tub

Buy the CobraCo SH101 Hand Hammered 100% Copper Fire Tub with Screen and Cover

The final in the top three copper fire pits is another model from CobraCo.  This time though it is a far more unusual product.  The fire bowl itself is solid copper that is hand hammered into shape.

Again the base is sturdy wrought iron, but this time it takes on a more minimalist design.  A mesh spark screen and vinyl cover are included in the purchase price of $346.  The most attractive feature of course has to be the extra deep copper fire bowl.  Having such a deep and low fire bowl means firstly that it is extremely sturdy with absolutely not chance of being tipped over.  Secondly, a deeper bowl means you can burn larger logs, and more of them too.  So the fire can be well banked up to burn hotter for longer.

All three are best selling copper fire pits, and each have their own advantages.  Any will provide an attractive garden ornament that doubles as a great place to sit outside with an outdoor wood fire in the evening.  You do get what you pay for and looking at the customer reviews it is apparent that the sturdier more solid fire pit tables last the longest and are easiest to use.  For a more unusual copper fire pit you might wish to consider the Starry Night Fire Pit Table.
